About this photo:
I’m not sure the aurora ever went away, but a long stint of cloudy night skies and low aurora activity sure made it seem like she had deserted us for a while. It’s been over a month since I have gone out chasing the aurora, usually a weekly occurrence this time of year. This is the final photo of my 2017 Project 52 and I am glad I can end with a pano shot of the aurora.
Settings and processing:
Canon 5DIII, Canon 16-35mm, 7.5sec, f/2.8, iso 1600, 4 exposure pano, Lightroom.
